"Playing and Learning": Première AGORA Students from Jean Rostand technical high school organized a conference. publié le 10/03/2025

The Première AGORA class organized a conference on February 11th, 2025.
The students looked prestigious on the day. They had been preparing for this moment for months with their English teacher, Mrs. Valdeomillos to ensure that the day would be a success, and indeed, the conference proved to be a success.
The Première AGORA students were each assigned a task to complete on that day, from welcoming the students and guests (from different associations in Angoulême) with a warm smile to setting up and organizing the venue.

The students organized European fun games to share with other students from Jean Rostand technical high school. The latter had been enrolled by their teachers to come (students from Social and Health Care, Fashion, and Leather classes, from the first to the third years of study).

The European Class students had to explain the rules of the game in English. Some found it a bit challenging, but that did not stop them from trying. There were hot drinks and biscuits for the students to enjoy.
There were special guests to motivate and encourage the students to take part in the ERASMUS+ program, as well as testimonies from previous students who had had the opportunity to take part in the ERASMUS+ or EMVOL PRO programs, sharing their experiences.
I had the privilege of being part of the conference, helped by our language assistant from South Africa, Laurinda, together with another Spanish language assistant from Argentina, Pedro. Both of them shared their experiences in France with the students and answered some questions from those eager to know more about their countries.
Judging from the smiles across the room, it was a great experience for the Première AGORA students, not only to put their English knowledge to the test but also to learn how to lead and organize a conference about going abroad.
