Project with Mrs Mauduit (medical and social science teacher).
Title : Organizing games about Europe for residents of an old people’s home.
Objective : Discovering Europe and proposing games.
The different steps :
2022 -2024
- Choose a European country and look for information to present it and note them down on the document.
- Create a poster board to present the chosen country :
( Methods : how to present and organize the information on your poster board ?)
- Present a European country to your friends orally.
- Exhibition at the old people’s home « Les Avelynes » in Niort.
2023 - 2024 :
Choose games about Europe to propose to the residents : a memory game – a lottery one – find out the capital cities.
Prepare the cards for your games :
For the memory one : choose photos of famous places and monuments in the capital cities and create cards.
For the lottery : make boards with the different flags.
For the game « guess the capital cities », prepare cards with the different capital names
Organize a tea party :
study a recipe : chocolate cookies.
choose recipies ₋ make a list of the ingredients you need -
prepare the cakes
Plan your afternoon with the residents and organize the games.

Title : How can you become an eco citizen at work ?
Objectives :
improving recycling and adopting an ecological attitude at work.
creating an ecological object, which will prove useful at work.
2023 – 2024 :
Test your knowledge about recycling (answer a survey).
Analyse the results.
Meet the Maxi Bazar Association : recyclable and non recyclable waste. Classify the different plastic waste and imagine an ecological town using waste.
Meet « Les recycleurs fous ». Discover the different types of plastic and discover how to create something made of recyclable plastic (ex : a ruler).
Ask questions about recycling in England to our English assistant.
Take notes and write a report.
What about recycling in Europe ? Choose a country, look for information and take notes.
Make a powerpoint to present to your friends.
